Another client has paid their house out! That makes 3 in about 3 weeks!
Wow! I’m nearly out of Moët! We did it again! Another client has paid their house out! That makes 3 in about 3 weeks!
This time it was one of our Fly-in Fly-out guys. He has been making the most of his good income and smashing his debt reduction goals. It didn’t mean he reduced his lifestyle either. This ‘young’ – 49 year old has been kicking his personal goals as well. Enjoying travel, surfing and even a bit of renovations at home, he has certainly been enjoying life!
All of this and adding property 3 to his investment portfolio at the same time. Winning!
The secret in the acceleration in numbers of our clients’ success in paying off their homes has definitely been the renewed focus created by My BIG Money goal. With the 12 week challenges and the weekly mini sprints.
Over the years I have found some clients kicked major goals in fast debt reduction while others, while doing better than they had done preciously, didn’t seem to get the big result others did with our program. When I analysed the differences, I realised it was the ‘connectivity’ and the focus that made all of the difference.
It is all in the doing
In fact, it’s a little like having a piece of exercise equipment – if you buy it and put it under the bed or in the garage and never use it, it doesn’t make an iota of difference. If you use it occasionally, without a plan and very spasmodically it doesn’t make a great deal of difference. If you make the most of it, make a plan and follow the plan, stay on track and better still have a personal trainer help you with the plan – it usually works a treat!
Reducing debt doesn’t have to be painful, restrictive or mean you will have no fun. Putting your money on a diet doesn’t work either. Just like weight loss – dieting doesn’t work well. Usually because we can only go without the good things for a certain period then we ‘break out’ or give up because it is too hard.
In both cases it has to be a lifestyle change. I used to roll my eyes at that statement when I was trying to lose weight. To me that meant I had to learn to like eating raw carrots and love missing my morning latte – lol, not going to happen! But what I discovered was I just needed to have a plan that suited me, my plan included lattes’ and didn’t include raw carrot or missing out on the things I like, but it did include changes from what I had been doing. Let’s face it – if I kept doing what I was doing I would get more of what I had… lots and lots of extra kilos!
Make A plan
By making a plan, focusing on the outcome, getting back on the wagon if I slipped up I certainly kicked some big goals weight loss wise (60kgs to date). All I did was follow the system I put in place for debt reduction. Simple really! And yes – eye roll – it ended up being a lifestyle change! But a good one, one that I can live with and enjoy, and the rewards both in weight loss and debt loss are certainly worth the effort!
If you aren’t achieving what you want to achieve in Debt reduction or in getting your money organised, or in creating the wealth required to give you an ongoing increasing income for your future happiness – it might be time to get focused in what you really want in life.
It is a lot easier than you think!
Call today to get started or get restarted! You don’t have to be Albert Einstein to know– if you keep doing what you are doing, and expect a different income….
Have a great day
