A good mindset is the constant requirement of a healthy investment portfolio, to stay on the path of creating wealth thought property. Staying on track takes courage and commitment!
Navigating your way through the minefield of applications, documents, contracts and settlements can be overwhelming when it's your first or even your second property. I pinch myself daily as I continue to work towards my goals and head into the third property, this time through a Self Managed Super Fund.
Staying focused and on task is something that for most of us takes time and commitment. There's no two ways about it, you have to want to be in it. Even practicing what you preach takes time and effort. I encourage all clients particularly those that have recently settled on property to come in and see one of the Think team - we love any excuse for a coffee!! The brain loves good information; it helps us feel secure and confident. When we are confident and surround ourselves with confident people, it makes the property ride the enjoyable learning curve it should be.
This ride is also a great lesson in understanding what you can control and coming to terms with what you can't control. (Don't get me started about relationships!!). Having goals and most importantly staying in touch with your wealth coach and/or coming along to events, will make a huge difference in how good or bad you want to let yourself feel.
